What after SEE ?

In Nepal, We can continue studying after SEE in three ways:

  • +2 (Ten plus two)
  • A-Level (Advanced Level)
  • CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training)

+2 (Ten plus two)
Most of the students pursue their studies as +2 in Nepal. It is 2 years course. Almost all colleges in Nepal provide this course. Anyone fulfilling the general conditions to continue their study can join +2.

A-Level (Advanced Level)

A Level is also 2 years course similar to +2 but it is an advanced course primarily focusing on students who want to go abroad for further studies. It is the most expensive course. The theoretical content of A  Level is comparatively lesser because it emphasizes practical knowledge. Students from this background are given more priority for further study abroad. It is affiliated with foreign institutes and universities.

Less colleges provide the A-Level course. Some of the best colleges for A Level are as follows:
  1. St. Xavier College
  2. Trinity International College
  3. Saipal Academy
  4. Malpi International College
  5. Little Angel's College
  6. The British College
  7. Chelsea International College
  8. Ace Institute of Management
  9. Orient School of Science and Management
  10. Budhanilkantha School

CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training)

CTEVT is three years course i.e. Diploma. Only students from Government Schools are liable to pursue their studies at CTEVT. It is highly focused on providing technical knowledge. Students from this sector also have additional benefits.

Which fields can be chosen for in +2 or Diploma ?
